Fauna TV
View footage of wildlife captured on our hidden remote-sensor cameras. Some of the animals we have seen so far include Tasmanian Devils, spotted tail quolls, wombats, echidnas and pademelons. The same devil has visited on several occasions in different locations. We are able to identify it by the distinct markings. We have named it Davina the Devil. Check out footage of Davina below.
Footage within TN44B (Logging coupe where The Observer Tree is located)
Young Tassie devil: Footage recorded on March 10th 2012, about 300m from the base of The Observer Tree.
An explanation of the significance of finding young healthy devils in this forest and why we need to protect devil habitat and den sites:
This wombat was seen on camera on Day 3 of The Observer Tree (17-12-2011) within 500m of logging operations.
Davina the Devil is seen here the night before logging started (12-12-2011). The next day logging began within only 100m of where this footage was taken. We haven’t seen Davina on any cameras since this date.
Pademelon filmed on 28th September 2011.
Davina the Devil seen here on the 18th of September 2011. This footage was taken about 300m from the location of The Observer Tree.
And more footage of Davina on the same night.
And a little more footage of Davina.
Pademelon filmed on 15th September 2011.
Davina the Devil was seen here right at the base of The Observer Tree. This footage was captured at the beginning of our survey project, in July 2011.
Footage from other areas of forest under threat from logging, within 2 km of The Observer Tree.
(footage coming soon)

Davina looks healthy in these shots, no signs of the tumors, hope her home is saved.
